Athletic department officals said they had been baraged with calls following the announcement that the Rams would host the last round of the tourneyment. Rams Host Final Four: The Rams will host the WNIT final four this Thursday and Friday following a come-from-behind win against Oregon last night. Becky Hammon led the Rams with 23 points. The Rams will face Florida at 8:00 pm Thursday night and play again on Friday night in either the consolation game or the finals matchup at 6 or 8 pm respectively. The game can be heard live in Fort Collins on KCOL 1410 AM. (November 17, 1998)

Rams Roll: When all was said and done the Rams took a 97-71 win over Valparaiso University (WNIT) away from the first round of the WNIT Friday night. The Rams attempted more three-point shots (30) than ever before. They tied a school record for number of three-pointers made with 12. "This was a great way to start off the season,"Coach Tom Collen said after the game. "We could do some good things this year if we continue to play defense like that,"Collen added. The Rams tallied 20 take-aways in their season opener. (November 14, 1998)

Turnout Critical: The Rams need record turnout this weekend as they take on Valparaiso in the first round of the WNIT tourneyment. Season Starter: The Rams start their regular season by hosting Valparaiso in the first round of the Women's NIT this Friday night, November 13th. (November 11, 1998)

Lopsided Win: The Rams started with a spark with an 89-35 exhibition win over Uppsala-Sweeden at Moby arena. All-Americans Becky Hammon and Katie Cronin combined for 38 points in the run-away victory. (November 11, 1998)
