With 20 minutes showing on the pre-game clock it is a beautiful day winter day in Fort Collins. Snow covers the area around the stadium as well as most of the bleachers. The crowd looks to be very small on this sunny day. The Rams will take teh field with less than 2000 people in the stands today, likely setting record low for attendence at Hughes Stadium.

The field is composed mostly of crushed grass covering a mud base. The facilities crew prepared teh field for a game yesterday at about the same time the snow finally let up. According to the crew the best time to play on a field is right after it's been cleared. It's now been 24 hours for this field which has suffered through the flood of '97 and now the blizzard of '97.
