Updated at 4:19 pm MT.; FINAL; Rams 14 - Pokes 7.

The Cowboys use their next-to-last timeout to stop the clock at 2:10 after McDougal's 5-yard carry. Moreno under center hands it to McDougal who gets it to the 37 for a Ram first down. 1st and 10 Rams at their 37. McDougal takes it to the 42 with 1:30 to play in the game.

2nd and 3 for the Rams as the handoff goes to McDougal takes it to the Wyoming 20 as a flag comes in late in the play. The face-mask call goes against Wyoming putting the ball just outside the Cowboy's 10. Moses lets the clock run before the quarterback sneak.

The Cowboys take their last timeout with :23 left on the clock. Moreno takes a knee and ends the game.

THE RAMS GET THE BRONZE BOOT.

The punt as Geoff Turner falls on it at the Ram 9 yard-line. Turner appears to be injured after pushing off for an attempted catch on that play.

First and ten Rams from their own 9. Moreno with the screen pass to Washington. 2nd and 10 Rams from their own 9. The handoff goes to Washington for a gain of 3 to the 12. Paul Turner brings in the play for the Rams as the Rams call a timeout with 3:21 to go.

Moreno comes up to throw to Darran Hall wide open at mid field but it's overthrown. Preston Loos will come in to punt for the Rams.

The kick is high and away taken and dropped at the Wyoming 33 yard line. Stoner fires incomplete to mid field with Clark Haggans coming to pressure Stoner. 3:01 to go 2nd and 10 Cowboys as Stoner fires incomplete to Montgomery. 3rd and 10 Cowboys on their own 33.

The swing pass from Stoner is overthrown. Wyoming elects to go on 4th and 10. Stoner throws complete to the Ram 47-yard line. 1st and 10 Cowboys across mid field. Brigham breaks a tackle and is run out of bounds at the 30 yard-line. 1st and 10 Pokes as Stoner comes up throwing and the Cowboys fumble. The Rams Recover, and have the ball on their own 20 with 2:18.

3rd and 7 for the Rams on the Cowboy 27. The crowd gets into the game as Moreno comes to the line. Moses throws incomplete to Geoff Turner down the center.

Franz comes in to kick the field goal - a 44-yard attempt. Again, it's no good - wide right.

Stoner rolls right for one yard. On second and 9 Stoner throws it away. 3rd and 9 for the Cowboys.

The third-down pass is dropped.

Franz in on for the field goal try. The kick is no good as the score remains 14-7.

1st and 10 Cowboys at their own 20. Brigham gets six yards to the 26. On second down Brigham struggles forward close to the first down. Stoner sneaks on 3rd for the first down.

34,745 fans showed up to set a record in Laramie on this beautiful afternoon.

Stoner lines up on the 31 and fires incomplete behind his reciever. 2nd and 10 Pokes on the 31 from the shotgun and the pass is complete to the tight end. 1st and 10 Cowboys on their 44. FUMBLE Colorado State Ball as Joey Porter recovers the fumble.

1st and 10 Rams at the Cowboy 44. A holding call goes against the Rams moving them back to the Ram 43 yard-line. Rams send G. Turner wide right and passes to Turner and he goes to the Cowboy 44. 2nd and 9 Rams on the Poke 44 yard line as the call is a delay draw as Washington looses one. The Cowboys are called for being offsides.

2nd and 4 on the Wyoming 41. Washington takes the ball across the 40 to the 30 for the first down.

1st and 10 at the Cowboy 30 takes the Rams to the Wyoming 24. Washington gets the handoff again and takes it straight to the Cowboys bringing up 3rd and 2. From the Cowboy 22 Washington carries to the 19 and the Rams are called for an illegal shift to bring up 3rd and 7 for the Rams.

Moreno calls time-out with 5:28 to go.

The punt is high and short taking a Ram bounce and is downed at the Ram 39. A 12-yard punt for the Cowboys.

Moreno comes up with McDougal and the toss goes to Geoff Turner for a 1st down at the Wyoming 45. 1st and 10 Rams at the Cowboy 49. Moreno hands off to McDougal on the reverse to Darran Hall for another 10 yards and another 1st for the Rams. Rams send trips wide right at the Wyoming 35. Moren's pass is good for a yard. 2nd and 9 Rams - Moreno gives to McDougal on the draw and McDougal carries to the Wyoming 21 for the Ram's first down.

1st and 10 Rams on the Wyoming 21. Moreno sends McCoy right and McDougal blows through the line to the 14 yard-line through the pile.

2nd and 4. McCoy reverses as the handoff goes to McDougal carries for another 2 yards. 3rd and 2 for the Rams Moreno fakes and rolls left before being dumped for a loss at the 15 yard-line.

Stoner fires over the middle and Wyoming gets another flag for holding. The Cowboy's fourth holding call today. 2nd and 24 from the Poke's 4 yard line. Stoner under center and dumps it off quickly as the pass rush is fast. 3rd and 24 Cowboys from their own 4th.

Stoner throws across the middle for a first down at their own 37. Stoner hands off on first and 10. The carry is good for 12 as they cross midfield. Stoner comes up on 1st and 10 and fakes before being sacked at his own 45 yard-line. Rick Crowell met him for the Rams.

2nd and 16 from the Cowboy 45 as the Cowboys fumble and recover the ball on their own 44. 3rd and 17 from the Cowboy's 45. From the shotgun the Rams cover at midfield. and will take over after the Cowboy's punt.

1st and 10 Rams at their own 21 as Moreno changes the play. Dameon Washington takes it for 19.5 yards up the right side. Washington has 10 carries and 71 yards today. 1st and 10 Rams at their own 40. Washington gets it again and takes the ball forward to the 43.

2nd and 7 from their own 43. Moreno takes it from the shotgun and runs it up to the Wyoming 40 for a gain of 15. The Rams have a first and ten as Moreno carries again taking the ball to the Wyoming 33. 2nd and a long yard as Moreno throws an interception at the 5-yard-line.

That is Moreno's first interception in his last 68 pass attempts.

1st and 10 Cowboys at their own 6. Brigham makes it out the 12 but it will come back on a Wyoming hold. 1st and 13 from the Wyoming 3 yard-line.

The handoff goes to Brigham again and he makes it to the 13 yard-line. 2nd and 10 Cowboys from their own 13. Stoner hands it off and it's good for 2 yards for the 15. 3rd and 1 Pokes at their 15. The handoff comes and Brigham is able to spin forward for the first down. 1st and 10 Pokes at their 16. Cowboys come from the shotgun and Stoner throws incomplete. Myron Terry got a hand on it.

Stoner comes under center for the Cowboy first down. The Cowboys use a handoff to get back to the original line of scrimage. 2nd and 10 as Stoner tosses it out to Hooker for a 1st down at the 39. Stoner hands off after the fake. But it will come back for a false start. 1st and 15 Cowboys as Stoner hands the ball off and Mike Mackenzie.

FRESNO STATE DEFEATS AIR FORCE 20-17. This means the Pacific Division of the WAC is wide open and today's game is more important.

Brigham takes it up about five yards making it a 3rd and 10. From the shotgun Stoner throws incomplete. The holding call will go against Wyoming but will be declined as the Rams want the ball back.

As the Cowboys punt it away Geoff Turner calls for a fair catch at the Ram 21.

1st and 10 Rams on their 34. Washington takes it forward for 3 and ends up on the 38 yard-line. 2nd and 7 Rams on their 38. Paul Turner and Darran Hall are wide as Moreno rolls right and avoids a tackle before being sacked. 3rd and 11 from their 34 as the Rams are called for an illegal procedure making it 3rd and 16 at the Ram 29.

Moreno comes under center and looks to throw and rifles it out to Darran Hall incomplete. Preston Loos comes in to punt for the Rams. The high spining kick takes a Ram bounce to the Wyoming 23 yard line.

Hurst will kickoff and set the second half underway. The Cowboys will start on their own 24-yard-line. After a short gain and a penalty it will be 3rd and 13 from their own 13. Stoner looks to throw and the ball is tipped and nearly caught by Erik Olson. Kvamme gets the tip on the pass.

4th and 13 means the Pokes will punt it away. Turner calls for the fair catch at the Ram's 34.

C.W. Hurst will kick it off for the Rams with the wind. He'll pooch it down the middle and the Cowboys will take over on their 8-yard line. Stoner steps up to throw and is sacked to end the first half.

Moreno is over 200-yards passing today.

Updated at 2:33 pm MT.; :11 left 2nd quarter; Rams 14 - Pokes 7.

The Cowboys will kick it off the Rams for what will likely be the last posession of the half. Darran Hall takes the kick 6-yards-deep in the end-zone. The Rams will have 1st and 10 on their own 20.

Moreno's pass to Geoff Turner will take the Rams to the 30-yard-line. 1st and 10 Rams and Moreno gives to McDougal on the draw. Timeout Rams. The Rams, under Coach Lubick are 28-2 when they lead at the half so they'll look for any points they can get here.

2nd and 4 as Moses throws out to Darran Hall and it's incomplete as Hall looks for a flag but none will come. Third and four Rams as Moreno scrambles up to the 48-yard-line before getting out of bounds.

1st and 10 Rams as Moses rolls right and throws incomplete to the Wyoming 32-yard-line. 2nd and 10 Rams near the mid-field stripe. Moses fires to McCoy close to the first down and he'll have the first down.

1st and 10 Rams with :30 in the half. Moreno throws it down to G. Turner who takes it to the Cowboy 13.

1st and 10 Rams with :17 left in the quarter. Moreno spikes the ball and the Cowboys call a timeout after the Rams are called for a false start.

Just underway in the second-half in Colorado Springs Air Force leads 17-10.

Moreno throws it to Corey McCoy and hits him on the goal line. McCoy gets one foot in bounds while catching the pass which is over his head. 14-7 Rams after Franz's kick.

2nd and 7 for the Pokes at the Ram 27. Stoner drops and passes it's complete and taken to the 19. 1st and 10 at the Ram 19. Stoner hands it off and Eason Ramson meets the fullback on the line of scrimage. The Cowboys are called for holding. Stoner keeps and makes it up to the 21 yard-line. From the shotgun Stoner will get it out, complete to the 6-yard-line.

1st and goal Cowboys on the Ram 6-yard-line. A handoff will take it to the 3. 2nd and Goal for the Cowboys. Stoner's toss is good for about 1/2 a yard. 3rd and Goal Pokes. Stoner fakes and throws a touchdown pass to the endzone. 7-6 Rams. The Point after will tie the game at 7.

The Rams come to the line for a thrid and long situation 1-4 on third down conversions today. Moreno is sacked again on another coverage sack. Moreno was looking long and found nothing.

The punt goes over Loos's head. Chasing the ball he manages to get it off as he scrambles from Wyoming defenders and gets it to the Ram 42.

Brigham takes is for one yard. On second down Stoner won't find the pass he wants and will run. Kvamme meets him hard at the first down marker. 1st and 10 Pokes on their deepest posession in Ram territory. The Pokes get three on first down and are stopped by DeVaughan Hawkins.

C.W. Hurst tees it up and puts into the Cowboy's end-zone. 1st and 10 Pokes on their own 20. Stoner throws downfield to the tight-end and makes it to mid-field. 1st and 10 Pokes. Stoner hands it off and it's good for 2-3 yards. 2nd down Cowboys. Stoner wants to throw and is hit hard and gives the ball up to Erik Olson.

First down Rams and Washington takes it upfield for 11 yards. 1st and 10 Rams as Washington sweeps aroung the end. A holding call will bring the Rams back to the 23. 1st and 29 Rams. Moreno gives it to Washington again and he gets 9. Moses drops back to pass and will be sacked at the Ram 33.

3rd and 18 for the Rams coming up after a timeout.

Stoner hands it off as the Pokes will get called for holding. 1st and 18 on the Cowboy 10 yard line. The Pokes come up with Stoner in the shotgun and he launches it downfield incomplete as the Rams come in and give Stoner a greeting. 2nd an 18 Cowboys as Stoner rolls left and passes complete to the 32-yard-line. The handoff goes to Brigham and is met on the 21-yard-line by Erik Olson for a loss of 11. Brigham takes it agian for a gain of 4. Thrid and 16 for the Cowboys on their 25.

Clark Haggans gets to Stoner and sacks him at the Cowboy 18. The Pokes will punt as Turner takes it upfield and is brought down at the 47-yard-line. A flag comes flying during the return.

Wyoming is called for interfearance but the Rams decline. 1st and 10 Rams as Washington is behind Moreno. Moreno comes up throwing with a pass of about 4-yards just across midfield. Moses rolls right and overthrows Darran Hall deep down the field brings up 3rd and 6 at the Cowboy 48.

From the shotgun Moreno is flushed out and rolls right and throws a strike to Corey McCoy for a 48-yard touchdown. Franz's kick makes it 7-0 Rams.

A missed assignment on the Pokes 3rd and 15 means they'll have to punt it away to the Rams. Turner takes a fair catch on the Ram 6-yard-line.

1st and 10 Rams as he hits Turner and Geoff Turner takes it downfield and across to the Wyoming 42 yard line. 1st and 10 Rams as McDougal comes into the Ram lineup. McDougal gets the handoff and takes it forward for two yards. Moreno fakes and throws it out incomplete for G. Turner. 3rd and 8 Rams as the Ram's line has done a great job this afternoon. Moreno wants to throw from the shotgun and he'll be sacked.

Preston Loos comes in to punt it away for the Rams. A good high kick takes a good Ram bounce and makes it down to the Wyoming 7-yard-line.

1st and 10 Cowboys. The handoff goes out to the 13-yard-line. Second and 4 Pokes as the first quarter comes to an end. Stoner throws and is almost picked off by Erik Olson. 3rd and 4 for the Cowboys. Stoner hands it off and will just make the first down. 1st and 10 Pokes on their own 17. That will end the quarter.

Fresno State leads Air Force 10-3 at the end of the first half in Colorado Springs.

Stoner comes up under center with a quick toss gets the Cowboys two on first down. Stoner hands the ball off and gets it out to the 37-yard line. With a quick handoff the Cowboys get just to the 40-yard line. First and 10 Cowboys on their own 40.

The reverse brings Wyoming to the Ram 49 and another Cowboy first down. 1st and 10 Cowboys. Erik Olson comes up to hammer the Cowboy ballcarrier on the line of scrimage. 2nd and 10 Pokes. A false start for the Cowboys brings up 2nd and 15 for the Cowboys. Stoner throws from the shotgun and it's tipped to the ground at the line of scrimmage.

Updated at 1:23 pm MT.; 6:50 left 1st quarter; Rams 0 - Pokes 0.

First and 10 Rams on their own 20. Moses will roll right and run the football for thriteen yards. First and 10 Rams on the Ram 33-yard line. Moreno with a straight drop as he gets a step forward and back to the 31. The Rams will be called for a block in the back moving the Rams back to the 19 making it 1st and 24 at the 19 yard line.

Moreno tosses it out to Geoff Turner who gets a good block and makes it out to the 25. Washington gets one yard on the delay. The Rams are facing into a strong wind. Moreno from the shotgun gets it out to Turner who is down at the 41. Preston Loos comes on to punt. The low punt preceeds a booming punt. The Cowboys call for a fair catch on the 30.

Stoner under pressure on third down throws it away downfield where it is tipped and nearly picked off. The Cowboys will punt with the wind. Turner gets it at the 10 and takes it through traffic to the 20.

Updated at 1:08 pm MT.; 10:35 left 1st quarter; Rams 0 - Pokes 0.

Turner is back deep for the kickoff in the 89th border war. Geoff Turner takes the kick 3-yards deep in his end-zone. He brings it out to the 23-yard-line.

1st and 10 with Moreno under center and gives it straight ahead to Dameon Washington who takes it up the field for 7 yards. 2nd and 3 Rams with Washington taking it to the 43 on a draw play. The short pass goes to G. Tuner taking them to the Wyoming 40-yard-line. 1st and 10 Rams.

Washington is stacked up after a gain of two. Another handoff to Washington is good for one more yard as the Rams move to the Cowboy 38-yard-line. Moreno passes and it's incomplete on the 29-yard line. Preston Loos comes in to punt on 4th down. The Rams take the delay of game call to give Loos five more yards. Wyoming declines and a shanked punt gives Loos a 10-yard punt more sideways than downfield.

J. Stoner under center for Wyoming as they pickup two yards on 1st down. Marcus Brigham carries again for second down.
