Turner and Hall are deep for the Rams. Hall takes the return up to the 14-yard-line. Moreno sets up for one last drive to keep from being shut out.

Moreno passes through traffic, a bullet compete to Geoff Turner for 13 yards. Rams are in their hurry-up offense. Moreno throws long for Turner - incomplete.

Moreno is back, pass to Washington who is tripped up at the 29 for 3rd and 8. Moreno is sacked fo a loss of six. Moreno passes on 4th down and is just short of the first down. The Falcons take over on the Ram 35-yard-line.

Cale Bonds comes in at quarterback for the Falcons and there is a penalty - false start on the Falcons. First and fifteen Falcons. Bonds hands off to #25 Brown who is brought down after a one yard gain. Second and 14 Falcons and they down the ball and will run out the clock.

One more and its all over here at Hughes Stadium.

Timeout Falcons as they prepare for 3rd and 7. The fans have called this one a night and are departing for the drive home.

Morgan under center. Carries left for the first down, a gain of just over 7 on the play. First and ten Air Force on the Ram 41-yard-line.

Morgan brings his team to the line, hands it off to Gilliam who is wrapped up quickly by Kvamme and Hawkins. Two yards for Gilliam.

Morgan gets the ball, hand off to #19 Ruff who is brought down by #44 Ross for a loss of one as Sonny Lubick takes a time-out.

The clock shows 3:56 as Morgan comes to the line. Morgan back to pass, deep pass to #9 Dillon Newman at the 5 yard line. This sends the remaining Ram fans for the parking lot. First and ten Air Force at the 6. Morgan pitches to #27 Jamel Singleton around the right end.

Second and goal Falcons. Gilliam takes it up the middle for two yards and a Falcon score. 23 to 0 Falcons. PAT attempt by Wright is good and the Falcons have a 24-0 lead.

Entering tonights game the Rams had scored in 184 straight games dating back to the 1980's. As the numbers of tail-lights mount the Rams streak could be broken.

Morgan carries to his right as the flags fly after the play. #54 Jamie Bennett is injured and the Rams are called for a personal foul and give the Falcons fifteen yards and another first down.

The Rams line up to stop the Falcons and the ball goes to #24 Jemal Singleton. The Rams are playing better now than they have most the evening. The Rams swarm all over Gilliam as he carries for a yard.

The last time the Rams were shut out at home was in 1973 in their season opener against Arizonia.

The Falcons take over at the 23 as the game wanes. Morgan is under center, tosses it out to Ruff who gets six yards. 2nd and 4 Falcons. Morgan throws long for #6 Matt Farmer in and out of the hands of Ram Dennis Randle.

Third and 4 Falcons. Flags fly as Ruff carries for about 8 but it will come back giving the Falcons a 3 and 16. Gilliam carries for a couple of yards. Geoff Turner goes deep for the Ram return. The punt is long and Turner gets it brings it back 32 yards with some fancy footwork.

First and ten Rams. Moreno pass for #5 Paul Turner is incomplete. Second and ten Rams. Moreno hands it to Washington who is tripped up after a short gain. Third and long for the Rams as Moreno steps up, pass is incomplete. Illegal receiver called on the Rams and the penalty is declined. 4th and long for the Rams. Lubick decided to go for it.

Moreno under center. Falcon Tim Curry comes around the left end and gets Moreno from behind as the pass is thrown. Falcons take over on downs.

Rams take over 1st and ten on their own 20 yard line.

Moreno under center, changes the play. Drops back with a quick pass out to Geoff Turner pushed out 42 yards later. 1st and ten at the Falcon 37. Washington carries on the draw for a gain of one yard.

Moreno is flushed out of the pocket - FUMBLE - and the ball rolls out of bounds. 3rd and 21 Rams after the fumble. Moreno's quick pass to #80 Workman is incomplete.

Loos in to punt to Sanderson. Loos puts the ball out of bounds at the 23 yard line.

The Last time... the rams were held scoreless in three quarters was Coach Lubick's first season in a game against Kansas.

Six-yard gain for Air Force as Gilliam carries to the 3 yard line. Gilliam gets it again at its 2nd and goal on the Ram 5 yard line. Gilliam goes up the middle again back to the Ram 3 yard line where he meets Bennett and Haggans.

Morgan goes down after a two yard loss. Terry on the tackle, a flag is down. False start takes the Falcons back five yards to the 8. Third and goal Falcons on the Ram 8 as it get as noisy as it's been tonight .

The play was blown dead again as the Falcons back up for another false-start. 3rd and goal on the 13 yard line for the Falcons.

Morgan under center, runs left and is stopped short by Joey Porter and Willie Taylor for a three yard loss. Wright comes in for a 32 yard field goal attempt and the crowd gets back into the game. It's good.

Falcons 17 - Rams 0.

Critial 3rd and 8 and the Rams move on the line. It will be 3rd and 13 for the Rams on the Falcon 17. Moreno is under center, back pass is overthrown for #83 Darran Hall. #19 C.W. Hurst is in for the field goal attempt which is blown dead for a false start. It will be a 39-yard attempt for Hurst.

The low kick is no good as it skims under the goalpost.

Into tonights game the Rams were 10 for 10 in the red zone.

The Falcons take over on their 22 in front of a less-than-impressed crowd. Although the students are standing there is little noise coming from them throughout this televised game.

Morgan is under center swing pass to #6 Matt Farmer who takes it up for 14 yards before Kvamme and Taylor get him wrapped up. 1st and 10 as Ruff takes the handoff and flags come flying. This one will finally move the Falcons back for an illegal shift. First and 15 for the Falcons at the 31 yard line.

Morgan carries to his left before meeting Adrian Ross after 5 yards. Second down for the Falcons at their 31. Morgan carries for five yards - FUMBLE - he is ruled down and not a fumble. Lousy Call goes against the Rams - the replay shows he was standing when he fumbled.

Pass to Farmer for 6 yards giving the Falcons a first on their 49. Morgan carries around the left end for 6 yards. Second and 4. Morgan under center hands off to #19 Tobin Ruff who heads over the pile at the center of the field for a gain of 4 yards and a Falcon first down at the Ram 40.

Morgan rolls right and carries forward for a gain of two yards before Ross wraps him up. Second and 8 Falcons. Handoff to #33 Paroda as the flags come flying. The Falcons are called for illegal motion. Second and 13 for the Falcons.

Morgan drops back, looks to run and is sacked. #44 Ross and #54 Bennett get the sack.

Gilliam gets out with the ball on third down before being chased down by Myron Terry after 30 yards. 1st and 10 Air Force at the Ram 15.

Handoff to Ruff who goes around the left end for a five yard gain.

The Rams wait for a Falcon kickoff at Hughes Stadium as they trail 14-0.

Alex Wright kicks deep to #83 Darran Hall who bring it 30 yards up field before stepping out at the 33-yard-line after a 30-yard return.

1st and 10 Rams. Moreno to pass - incomplete to Geoff Turner while flags down on the play. False start called on the Rams. 1st and 15 Rams. Pass complete to #1 Geoff Turner for a whole bunch but holding is called on the Rams back at the line of scrimmage so it will be 1st and 29 Rams on the Falcon 9-yard-line. Flags come before the snap and the Rams back up some more on another false-start. First and 34 Rams.

Moreno hands off to McDougal who comes up the left side for a gain of 9 yards. Second and 25 for the Rams. Moreno drops back and is sacked as he comes forward to pass. Loss of 7 yards for the Rams and it's 3rd and 32 for the Rams from the Falcon 11.

Moreno drops back and has the pass complete to #5 Paul Turner who is wrapped up quickly by #5 Tim Curry. Darrell Ballard is injured on the play. 4th and 10 Rams from the original line of scrimmage for this drive. #3 Jason Sanderson is set to return. Ballard is helped off the field as #15 Preston Loos gets away a 54-yard punt with a 5-yard return by Sanderson before being wrapped up by Jones.

Falcon handoff goes to Gilliam who is wrapped up by Ross and Hawkins. 2nd and 8 Falcons. Morgan carries for 7 yards. 3rd and 1 as the crowd gets noisy and the Falcons take a time-out. The Falcons are 0-2 on third-downs for less than three yards.

The teams return to the field as the Falcons look to improve their third down rate. Morgan hands off to #21 Gilliam as the flags come flying. False-start called on the Falcons makes it 3rd and 6 for the Falcons at the Ram 22. The crowd gets into it as the teams line-up.

Handoff to #21 Gilliam who is quickly wrapped-up by #74 Hawkins as #4 Kirkland comes in to punt to #1 Geoff Turner. The punt goes out of bounds after 32 yards. 1st and 10 Rams on the Falcon 43.

The draw goes to #20 Damon Washington who is finally pushed out of bounds after 31 yards for a Ram first down.

First and ten Rams at the Falcon 26. Moreno's pass it long in the back corner of the end-zone. It goes through Hall's hands - incomplete.

Falcon handoff to Spanky Gilliam who is wrapped up by #46 Haggains for a three-yard gain. 3rd and 2 for the Falcons. It gets noisy before Morgan carries around the left end for a six yard gain and another Falcon first down.

First and ten Falcons at the 47 yard line as Morgan airs it out to Matt Farmer for a 47-yard touchdown pass. The Falcons take a 13-0 lead as they line-up for the PAT attempt. PAT good and the Falcons own a 14-0 lead.

Alex Wright kicks off to Darren Hall who gets 17 yards on the return to bring the Rams to 1st and 10 on the Falcon 17.

Handoff to Washington goes around the left end for a four yard gain. 2-6 from the 21 for the Rams as they line up - Moreno looks to pass, and scrambles for a loss of one. 3rd and 8 on the Falcon 20. Moreno hands it to Washington who is tripped up by #51 Chris Gizzi in the backfield for a loss of yards.

Loose punt is high and hanging. Sanderson calls for a fair-catch on the Ram 38. The Falcons take over with a 1st and 10.

The Rams have to step up the defense. A few big plays have saved them tonight, but they are too few and far between. The Defense must step up and come up with turnovers and the Offense must get consistent drives together to erase their seven point deficit.

Morgan lines up and rolls out on a keeper around the left end for seven yards.

Washington, up the middle, spinning out side, gets a block and cuts up-field. 22-yard-gain for the Rams. The Rams punt it away turning it over to the Falcons on the Ram 39-yard-line.

Washington note... In the 2nd quarter Wahsington has 7 carries for 100 yards, his eleventh 100-yard game of his season.

Kvamme comes up to stop the 2nd down play for no gain. 3rd and 9 Falcons. 13-yard run by Gilliam takes the Falcons across midfield. Tackle by Kvamme and a late flag comes in for unsportsman-like-conduct called on the Rams - 15-yard-penalty makes it a Falcon first on the 28-yard-line.

19-yard gain on a pitch-out to Farmer brings the Falcons to 1st and Goal on the Falcon 9. Morgan keeps for a gain of 3 yards. Spanky Gilliam on the carry for another 3 yard gain. 3rd and goal Air Force on the 3 yard line. It gets noisy here before Morgan carries across the left corner of the end-zone putting the first points on the board.

Field Goal Note... The Rams blocked blocking the field goal was the first time since 1995 when Ray Jackson blocked one. It is also the first time this year Air Force has been denied in the Red Zone and the first time the Rams have turned away an opponent inside the red zone.

Welcome Ram Fans....

It's a cool 45 degrees here at Hughes Stadium as we prepare for kickoff in the I-25 rivalry. Spectators continue to fill the stadium for what is expected to be one of the largest crowds in stadium history. The field is damp after several hours of heavy rain overnight.
