Dede Pendleton

assistant coach Dede is in her second season on the Rams’ coaching staff. She came to Colorado State after graduating from Creighton in 1995 with a degree in psychology. Her primary responsibilities are working with the outfield. As a student athlete, Dede was an all-conference outfielder and her knowledge through her playing experience will benefit the Rams’ outfielders tremendously.

As a player, Dede set the Creighton career home run record with 16. She also ranks in the top three in most career doubles, total hits, games played and runs batted in. She was a very versatile player and brings with her a great deal of knowledge and experience, playing every position on the field in her college career with the exception of catcher.

“Our program is getting a major plus with Dede involved, with her knowledge, personality and her willingness to learn to become the best coach she can be, I see only great things to come to Colorado State softball.” said head coach Candi Letts. “She possesses the ability to motivate the student athlete to play to their ability and then some.”
