Teri Klement

assistant coach Teri begins her second season as an assistant coach for the Rams’ softball team. A former Colorado State softball standout, Teri received her degree in Exercise and Sports Science in 1992. Her primary responsibilities are working with the infield, in which she was a tremendous player, where she will influence the infielders with knowledge and confidence.

As a player she had many accomplishments including being named a National Softball Coaches Association All-American Scholar Athlete, being selected to the First-Team All-Region, and being named All-Conference 1988-91.

Teri holds many offensive records which include career (.382) and season (.433) batting averages, most runs (95), most hits in a season (68) and career (210), career doubles (35), career triples (11), second in career home runs (11), longest hitting streak (23 games), second-highest slugging percentage in a season (.611) and career (.557), RBI in a game (6), a season (43), and a career (121), career walks (48) and most games started (179).

Before returning to Colorado State to coach, Teri played in Europe for four years. She helped her team win the European Championships each of the four years.

“Teri brings Colorado State softball tradition and pride.” said head coach Candi Letts. “We are excited that Teri is back. As an alum she can help our program succeed. She brings her college, international and women’s travel ball experience to our program which our student athletes can definitely benefit from.”
