Colorado State: 1996 - Set Colorado State single-season records in home runs (11), slugging percentage (.627), RBI (52) and assists (131)... Third on team with .331 batting average in ’96... Is Rams’ all-time leader in career home runs (18) and slugging percentage (.617)... Ranks second in career batting average at .338 and third in career RBI with 80... Named first-team all-WAC for the second straight year in ’96... Led the conference in triples with four... Second in the WAC in RBI and fourth in home runs. 1995 - Named the WAC Freshman of the Year and was selected first-team all-WAC... Set the Colorado State single season records for doubles (15)... Led the conference in doubles with 10 and was ranked in the top five in five conference catagories... Led the team in all major offensive categories.

Burke HS: Excellent all-around athlete, earning four letters each in basketball and tennis, and two letters each in volleyball and softball... Won the Omaha Chamber of Commerce award for outstanding area softball player in 1994... Two-time all-state selection in softball... Named Metro Omaha Female Athlete of the Year in 1994... Carried a 4.03 GPA...softball coach at Burke was Marty Torez.

Personal: Born July 20, 1976, in Omaha, Nebraska...daughter of Glen and Linda Fredstrom...has an older brother and an older sister...hobbies include skiing and fishing...favorite food is pasta...full name is Sarah Lynn Fredstrom.
