Over the course of the season you can expect live game updates, full game reports, notes and box scores. As the season progresses we will also add video clips and short features which will be downloadable in Quicktime format. DEFLATING DEFEAT: The Rams suffered a 24-0 shutout before an audience of national TV. Saturday's loss was the first time the Rams have been shut out since 1986. The Air Force Falcons stopped the Rams consistently and the Rams couldn't get the Falcon's stopped. RECORD CROWD: 34,071 people were on hand to witness the Ram's defeat. The crowd was the 5th largest crowd in school history. MOONSHINE: The Rams are 1-4 in night games at Hughes Stadium. They are 1-1 in night games so far this year. One more night game appears on the Rams schedule when they travel to San Diego State in the last game of the season. STREAK STANDING STOPPED: The Rams owned the fourth longest streak in the nation for consecutive games scoring coming in to Saturday's shut-out. The streak stood at 157 games. BYU has the longest streak with 271 consecutive games. LOWEST SCORES: The Ram-Falcon total score of 24 is the fourth lowest total score for the Colorado State - Air Force rivalry which dates back 36 games to 1957. Other Leading the list was the last game in Fort Collins in which the Rams emerged with a 8-5 victory. Before that there were 9-14 and 6-14 Ram losses in 1961 and 1964 respectively. INJURY UPDATE: H-Back Darrell Ballard is out for the season after suffering torn ligaments in his left knee. Linebacker Josh Dansereau injured his right knee and ankle and is questionable against Hawaii in two weeks. Tackle Jamie Barnett is probable with a neck sprain. THE ONES THAT HURT: When Colorado State caused the Falcon's Blane Morgan to fumble it ruled that he was already down. "I could tell from across the field that that one was a fumble,"Coach Lubick said after the game. The replay on ESPN-2 clearly showed he was standing when the ball was knocked lose. LOOKING AHEAD: The Rams have a week off to consider the loss and prepare for the next step. "If we're going to win we have to play better than we did tonight. It is a long season and there is plenty of football left to be palyed,"said Coach Lubick after the game.
