Softball Team Takes WAC Title in Series With San Diego

Fort Collins -- Friday was more than just another day for the Ram softball team. The Rams clinched their first ever WAC title with a 4-0 win over the San Diego State Aztecs. The Rams went on to eek out a 4-3 win over the Aztecs for winning day.

The win earns the Rams a seat in the NCAA Post-Season tournament that will be played next weekend on campuses across the country. The Rams are waiting for the results of the NCAA's draw to see where they will be playing (including possibly playing at Ram Field).
