Morrill Stays at CSU; Rams face UNLV

FORT COLLINS -- With the Rams on the way to their first 20 win season under his leadership, Coach Morrill has decided to stay with the Rams. Morrill was considered a top candidate for the open BYU job until Friday. CSU announced Friday that Morrill had accepted the four-year deal that will earn him about $200,000 a year.

Today the Rams (9-6 WAC) face UNLV (11-4 WAC) at Moby Arena. UNLV comes to Fort Collins to try and protect their standing as one of the three teams in a tie for first in the Pacific Division. Although Fresno State wins the tie-breakers in any case. Fresno State faces San Jose State, the sixth seed in the Pacific division. Hawaii, the other first place team faces San Diego State which has been eliminated from the WAC tournament with a seventh place finish in the Pacific Division.
