MANAGEMENT GURU KEN BLANCHARD TO SPEAK IN DENVER APRIL 28
Ken Blanchard, former professor and best-selling author of
"The One Minute Manager," will speak beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday
at the Adams Mark Hotel, 1550 Court Place in Denver.
Blanchard, whose appearance is sponsored by Colorado State
University, will address topics from his new book, written with
Shelden Bowles, called "Gung Ho!" His talk, "Building Gung Ho
Teams: How to Turn 'People Power' Into Profits," will examine
restrictive thinking in organizations and how to foster improved
workplace morale, increase productivity and maintain
competitiveness.
Chairman of the board of Blanchard Training and Development
Inc., Blanchard has written or co-written 11 books. "The One
Minute Manager" sold more than nine million copies and has been
translated into 25 languages; in 1996, four of Blanchard's books
were on Business Week's Top 15 bestseller list.
His public presentation, organized by the Denver Center of
Colorado State's Division of Continuing and Distance Education,
is sold out.

run from 9 a.m.-noon and 1:30-3 p.m., but are asked to reserve a
