16th Annual Ag Day Celebration To Be Held Aug. 30

FORT COLLINS--Ag Day 1997 offers a parking lot full of fun,
food and entertainment beginning at noon Aug. 30 outside Hughes
Stadium prior to the University of Nevada Wolfpack vs. Colorado
State Rams football game.
Help celebrate Colorado agriculture and enjoy an array of
quality Colorado foods, activities and live entertainment.
Colorado agricultural producers will supply food that is grown,
produced or processed from the mountains to the plains.
The Ag Day experience continues at 2 p.m., when the Colorado
State Rams, picked to win the 1997 Western Athletic Conference
championship, play their first game of the season.
Colorado agricultural organizations and Colorado State
Universityfls College of Agricultural Sciences and department of
>intercollegiate athletics are sponsoring the event, now in its
16th year.
A barbecue/football combination ticket costs $20. Barbecue-
only tickets will be sold for $8, subject to availability.
