Turn Your Computer Into An Extension Office With New Cd-Rom

FORT COLLINS--Coloradan's now can access a world of useful information through a new CD-ROM entitled Put Knowledge To Work.

Produced by Colorado State University Cooperative Extension, the CD-ROM contains over 3,500 detailed publications filled with unbiased, research-based information from 16 land-grant universities.

Publications on the disc include:

* xeriscaping your yard;

* helping your child learn to read;

* lawn care and controlling insects without chemicals;

* farm and ranch management; and

* how to properly prune your tree.

Other topics include food safety and nutrition, family economics, natural resources, high-altitude baking tips, identifying native weeds and grasses, and much more.
