FORT COLLINS--Colorado State University will hold its third annual All- University Undergraduate Research Symposium April 22 to recognize undergraduate students for their work in university labs and award up to $2,800 in scholarships.

"The symposium gives our students an opportunity to present the results of their research to the university as a whole," said organizer Thomas Sneider, associate dean of the College of Natural Sciences. "The symposium also reaches out to the broader public to show that research is not just something for graduate students and faculty. It is a vital part of the undergraduate experience."

The symposium will include both oral and poster presentations of work by about 70 undergraduate students. Poster presentations will be made from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Lory Student Center East Ballroom. Oral research presentations are scheduled from 9 a.m.-noon in Room 206-208 of the Lory Student Center.
