FORT COLLINS--Colorado State University invites high-school

day designed to give individuals firsthand perspectives on what
Colorado State has to offer.
The university's Office of Admissions will present Showcase
Colorado State 8 a.m.-3 p.m., April 18 and April 28 in the Lory
Student Center on the Fort Collins campus. The cost is $10 for
the event and pre-registration is recommended.
Participants of Showcase Colorado State will preview
academic programs and student services offered at the university.
Representatives from admissions, financial aid, housing, the
eight different colleges and other campus organizations will be
available to answer questions. There also will be sessions on the
admissions process, SAT and ACT test-taking tips, and parent and
student panel discussions. A campus tour and lunch are included
in the registration fee.
"This is a chance for high school students to gain
perspectives of college life and the Colorado State campus," said
Craig Chesson, admissions counselor. "We have a variety of
activities during the day that will help students feel more
comfortable when they come to our campus. The experience also is
invaluable when making the decision on which college to attend."
To pre-register or for more information, call the Office of
Admissions at (970) 491-6909.
