Wednesday, March 5, 1997
FORT COLLINS--Colorado State University invites transfer
students, adult learners and non-traditional students and their
families to "Showcase Colorado State," a visit day designed to
give students a firsthand perspective on what Colorado State has
to offer.
The university's Office of Admissions will present Showcase
Colorado State 8:45 a.m.-2 p.m. March 24 in the Lory Student
Center on campus. Cost is $10; pre-registration is recommended at
least two weeks prior to the event.
Participants of Showcase Colorado State will preview
academic programs and student services offered at the university.
Representatives from admissions, financial aid, on- and off-
campus housing, all eight colleges and other campus organizations
will be available to answer questions. A panel discussion, campus
tour and luncheon are included in the registration fee.
"This visit day provides a tailored introduction to Colorado
State for transfer students, non-traditional students and adult
learners," said Craig Chesson, admissions counselor. "The
transition to a university can often seem overwhelming, so this
program helps take some of the mystery out of the process."
To pre-register or for more information, call the Office of
Admissions at (970) 491-6909.
