This year, the college will award 55 scholarships, including Colorado Scholars Scholarships, CNS Dean's Scholars Scholarships, Natural Sciences Alumni Merit Scholarships and the CNS Faculty- Staff Scholarship.

Sixteen private scholarships will be awarded to 24 students. Six donors will attend and present their scholarships to recipients. Thirty-one student assistantships will be awarded through the Students as Leaders in Science program.

The guest speaker, Steve Seidman, is chairman of the department of computer science.

About 700 students made the Dean's List for spring and fall 1996. Students attending the ceremony will be individually recognized.
