Colorado Children's Trust Fund Accepting Requests For Funding Through Dec. 9

Thursday, November 7, 1996

FORT COLLINS--The Colorado Children's Trust Fund will accept through Dec. 9 proposal abstracts from private, non-profit and public organizations for funding of programs to prevent child abuse and neglect.

Interested organizations can receive abstract requirements from the Children's Trust Fund at 100 16th St., Suite 335, Denver, Colo. 80202; or by calling (303) 446-8860. The board of directors for the fund will select proposals for further consideration in February. The second, more detailed application will be due March 24. The board's invitation to submit a more detailed application does not guarantee funding. The fiscal year runs from July 1, 1997 to June 30, 1998.

The Colorado Children's Trust Fund is administered by Colorado State's department of social work in the College of Applied Human Sciences. The trust fund is supported by an additional $10 fee on Colorado marriage licenses, federal grants and contributions.

For more information about the fund, call Joyce Jennings at (303) 446-8860.
